After bringing in several players and being linked to countless others, Leeds United are on the opposite end of the spectrum, this time on the loan end. It was announced today that Luke Murphy would rejoin Burton Albion on a season-long loan after joining the Brewers on loan in January last season.

Signed from Crewe Alexandria in 2013, Luke Murphy fell out of favor last season under Garry Monk. A surplus to requirements, Murphy was joined by Toumani Diagouraga and Ross Turnbull to train with the u23s. Unfortunately for him, it looks as Murphy would have gone down that same road under Thomas Christiansen, so it’s good that TC decided to loan him out. Murphy told the Burton Mail that he really enjoyed his time at the club last season, so hopefully when its all said and done the Brewers sign Murphy on a permanent deal. But, for the time being, he’s still technically a Leeds player, so best of luck to Luke on his loan!
