Leeds United have had a very busy offseason so far, bringing in a lot of new faces to Elland Road. Thomas Christiansen has indicated that the club is not done, as he finally has shifted his attention to defense. One guy the Whites have been rumored to be looking at Danish Andreas Maxsø.

The 23-year-old has been playing for Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland his entire career. He made his debut in 2013 and has gone on to play 103 games, managing to score 3 goals. Maxsø also has a pretty good international résumé. He has featured for the Denmark u19 and u21 teams and has also played for the Denmark Olympic team. However, that might change. The big Dane has asked to leave the Wild Tigers this summer.

Maxsø is valued at £680k on transfermarkt.com. He’s also a pretty versatile player, being able to step in at right back and CDM if needed. Maxsø would likely be a backup to Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper if he joins Leeds. Which is fine, Liam Cooper is cool. Personally, I think we can go get another CB to start in front of Cooper, but whoever Leeds bring in next will have a huge indication on how Thomas Christiansen views Liam Cooper. With Maxsø, it looks like he’s going to be an understudy to start.

How do YOU guys feel about Andreas Maxsø? Do we need to bring in another player to start, or are you fine with Liam Cooper? Let me know in the Comments! MOT
