Having been on the radar for weeks now, the Macedonia international’s four year deal makes him Leeds’s eighth signing of the summer and shows clear intent to support Chris Wood in this seasons’ goal-scoring department.
Making 34 appearances for Swiss Super League side FC Lugano last season, Alioski bagged 16 goals which is pretty impressive for a striker, let alone an attacking midfielder.
It might take the fans a while to pronounce, or even spell his name correctly, but this transfer is another exciting addition to the squad and one which could hopefully push Leeds back to where they need to be.
With a couple of defenders rumoured to be coming in too, it’s a very interesting time to be a Leeds fan. MOT.
