Two promising young talent have signed professional contracts

A general view of Elland Road, home of Leeds United

Leeds United are continuing their signing spree, this time at a lower level. Youngsters Tom Pearce, a left back, and Alex Wollerton, a midfielder, have both signed professional contracts with the Whites, with both players respective management companies breaking the deals.

Wollerton, 17, and Pearce, 19, have been progressing through Leeds Academy, joining the professional ranks after a two-year scholarship with the club. Pearce was a regular for Leeds U18, and will now set his sights to earn a place in the u23s. Every team's academy can be one of the key parts to the club's long-term success, and it's a welcome sign that Leeds are bringing in and progressing young players.

Congratulations on your new deals boys, we’ll be looking forward to seeing you in the future!
