Garry Monk has taken the role of head coach at relegated Middlesbrough. He resigned as Leeds United manager in May and was announced as the new head coach at the small club in North Yorkshire.
A new stage in my career begins today. I'm going to give my absolute all to make the @Boro family proud of the team. #UTB pic.twitter.com/X0DSODIEdY

Leeds United fans had their say on the matter and it makes an interesting read.

Are you going back to Leeds for Charlie Taylor? You can take him off the washing line now since you hung him out to dry..

Disappointed that you left Leeds. Thought you would have wanted to build on what had been achieved. We move on as well.

They weren't all angry replies though. Some Leeds United fans have looked past it all and given Monk their best wishes.
Good luck Gary thanks for last season

Nobody knows how his time at Middlesbrough is going to go but only time will tell. With parachute payments adding to a healthy transfer budget, Monk will be looking to strengthen an already relatively strong squad. Safe to say he wont be looking forward to his visit to Elland Road.
