The best thing about a mid-week fixture is that it gives us the chance to forget about a poor result at the weekend - and this evening Leeds travel to Brentford looking to get back to winning ways after Saturday's defeat.
Remember: Leeds United at Brentford, 7:45pm GMT, TV Listings, Full Preview.
Here's how we think this evening's game will go down...
James Mahoney: 1-0 Leeds - I think we will get back on track tonight but it won't be an easy ride for the players. I think Brentford will look to press us early and we will have to work hard off the ball to contain their attacking ability. We will play the 1st in the usual way and get to halftime goalless. After the break, we will come on stronger and score through a Hernandez screamer from 30 yards. After that we will see the game out and take the 3 points back to Elland Road.
Johnny Wakefield: 1-1 draw - I don’t want to predict a defeat, but that performance on Saturday was less than inspiring, and I’m worried we’re not taking April seriously enough. I’d love to see a 4-0 win for the Whites, but I think a 1-1 draw is more likely. Wood with the goal for us, because of course. MOT.
Ben Mallis: Leeds 1-0 - We should all expect more after Saturday’s lacklustre effort. Brentford will be an easier opponent but the drive within the playing group will be tested. With all hope of automatic promotion now gone, positioning within the top six is all that remains to achieve. We need to cement that top six spot ASAP so the likes of Wood and Pontus can rest up ahead of May’s activities. Leeds to score early and ride a defensive masterpiece to three needed points.
Anthony Linley: 2-1 Leeds - Should we play our strongest defence I feel we have more than enough to cope with Brentford’s attacking threat. They have goals in them but if they score one we’ll score two because the rest of their team don’t measure up to their attack. Boss the midfield and the points are ours. Wood and Doukara with the goals.
Sean Ryan: 3-0 Leeds - We need a massive performance after the shambolic display against Reading. It's make or break now for Leeds. Top 2 is gone but we need a good draw for the play offs and some form going in. Bring back Jansson let him score and watch Leeds come away with three points.
Nestor Watach: 1-0 Leeds - One of the most impressive aspects of Monk’s management has been his ability to put bad results and performances behind us. Since we’ve been in the top six, we’re yet to have a real slump, and with a fully fit and relatively well rested squad, I see no reason why that should happen now. As flat as Leeds looked on Saturday, a 1-0 loss at the Madejski is far from a disgrace, and Griffin Park should prove a less difficult challenge, at a thoroughly midtable outfit who have little to play for. Brentford have lost two of their last three at home, and we should have enough about us to inflict another. 1-0 to Leeds.
