Leeds face Burton in the first of three defining fixtures over the next three weeks. The defeat last week left Leeds in 7th and unnerved us all. However, the TIAT team are confident of a United win today with their predictions for the game. Read ours, make yours in the comments below.
Remember: Leeds United vs Burton Albion, 3:00pm BST, TV listings, Full Preview.
Here's how we think the match will go this afternoon...
James Mahoney: 3-1 Leeds - I think Leeds will walk away with a comfortable win this afternoon. Burton play very open attacking football and this should play into our hands. The quality we have within the side will dominate from the get go. Leeds will score 2 goals in the 1st half - a brace from Wood and score late in the 2nd through Doukara, to take home an important 3 points.
Mike Stehlik: 1-0 Leeds - I hope we've learned not to overlook games against teams that on paper are an "easy 3". Burton are a team that are looking for one more win to solidify their place in next years championship, but I don't think they'll get anything from this game. I think their only "threat" is Jackson Irvine, but I'm confident enough that he'll be shut down for the game. Chris Wood scores to bring back the confidence Leeds had as we fight to get into the playoffs. MOT
Sean Ryan: 1-0 Leeds - Confidence is low. It's time to nut up or shut up and prove we belong in the Premier League.
Ben Mallis: 2-1 Leeds - There is no more playing around. Either United shows the strength of a promotion calibre side or we remain in the Championship. Garry Monk and Chris Wood have been surprising me all season and they get one last chance. I think they will take it.
Nestor Watach: 1-0 Leeds - A nervy, not entirely convincing win. Vieira’s return will do us good. Burton have looked relatively solid to me given their standing in the league, but boast one of the poorest home records. Must win, I trust in this team to oblige.
Anthony Linley: 2-0 Leeds - Every game in the championship is a challenge and every result very unpredictable. Take a look at the notable fixtures, none of those will be on my acca. This game is no exception, but if Leeds play with passion and determination, we know there can only be one winner.
Joshua Gilbert: 2-0 Leeds - I expect Chris Wood to score both goals, and to get us back on track. It'll be a comfortable win with no worries whatsoever.
Johnny Wakefield: 1-0 Leeds - An early goal from Doukara and a coast to the finish on the road, with a nervy final ten minutes because we’re Leeds aren’t we? Monday broke my confidence in the promotion quality of the team: I’d love to see a 5-0 win today to restore that. As confident as I am in the three points though, I think the more interesting storyline is Jansson. Will he stay clean? Or pick up a yellow? I’m betting he picks one up... making Norwich and Wigan all the more nerve-wracking. MOT.
