Lasogga hasn’t featured in a Leeds United match since being hauled off the pitch at half-time against Brentford on 4 November. Leeds have gone 4-1-1 since that match to vault themselves within a point of the playoff places. With the big German striker fit again, does Kemar Roofe keep his place in the starting XI? Or will Thomas Christiansen go back to Lasogga, especially with the supply from the wings improving since the dark days of October where Lasogga barely touched the ball for weeks.
We’ll know later today, and of course this whole theory depends on Christiansen was even telling us the whole truth. Christiansen has kept things close to the vest in terms of available players this season, saying one thing in the press conference and having something completely different happen in the match the next day.
