It was bound to happen.
Leeds United got their day in the sun for American audiences, having their match vs Brentford live-streamed on WatchESPN. If getting beat 3-1 wasn’t bad, there was one specific moment of comedic genius. Brentford’s Yoann Barbet and Leeds’ Samu Sáiz get into a little scuffle near the touch line. Sáiz tries to get in Barbet’s face and, with one smooth raise of an arm, ended any chance of an argument, the old fashioned way. I saw this nugget of meme glory live and knew it was only a matter of time before social media exploded. And boy did it ever.

What a great first impression to American audiences.
It was a demoralizing game, and a demoralizing moment hell, its demoralizing times being a supporter. But its important to make fun of ourselves sometimes, right? Find the light among the darkness, that sorta thing.
Big up the Twitterverse in general, thats A LOT of retweets.
