Morning Leeds-In for 29 October: Are Leeds United paying the price for questionable recruitment?

How much of the problems are because of the recruitment?

One of the complaints this summer was that despite the number of players brought in to the first team, an established left-back and central defender were not brought in. And while Matthew Pennington, Liam Cooper, and Conor Shaughnessy have all looked good for stretches of the season, Friday night’s loss to Sheffield United was the kind of match that Kyle Bartley would have taken control of last year. Cameron Borthwick-Jackson was brought in on loan from Manchester United, but like last year at Wolverhampton, his play has been very poor. Leeds need some changes as it appears that the good run of form that had vaulted Leeds up the table has been lost.
