Leeds United will take on Sheffield United at Elland Road tonight, with local bragging rights and a possibility for Leeds to go into 2nd in the table and the chance for the Blades to go top of the table.
The clubs, while located less than 40 miles apart, haven’t played each other very much in the recent past, with the last match between the two clubs played six years ago. Much like Leeds, Sheffield United endured a period of purgatory in League One before escaping last season by winning the division. Blades fans are hoping that Sheffield United duplicate the success of Southampton from a few years ago by securing two straight promotions, while Leeds fans are looking for their new owner and to lead them back to the top-flight where they feel the club belongs.

Any preview or anything else having to do with this match would be incomplete without mentioning the “One Day for Toby” efforts that Leeds United is doing tonight. 4 year-old Toby Nye is a Leeds fan who needs cancer treatment, and the club is raising money for him, his family, and other families that are going through the same horrible thing.
Reminder that today's home game vs Sheff U is live on espn3 in the US and DAZN in Canada. MOT! #lufc

Since the match is available on Sky Sports, LUTV will NOT be showing the game live for overseas fans. The match will be available on DAZN in Europe and on BeIN Sport 2 in Australia. With the number of television and streaming options, there will likely be dodgy streams available, but the number of y’all needing those isn’t gonna be that many, right?
EDIT: Lineups are out.
