Leeds topped Rovers for a second time in a week last night to advance to the fourth round of the EFL Cup... and then we waited for a day to find out who we’d face. We asked our Twitter family what they’d like to see, and while it was close, a “big club at Elland Road” won the poll, because you’re all confident and want to see some magic at home.
POLL: Arguments can be made for all three choices, but going into tonight's #EFLCup 4th round draw, what do you want for #LUFC? Vote & RT?

Well, that didn’t really happen. Instead, Leeds get fellow Championship side Norwich City at Elland Road on the week of 24 October. With 16 teams left in the tournament, drawing a Championship side has to be seen as option 1 in our poll, an easier club coming to Elland Road, so 42% of our readers should be happy with that.

But Norwich isn’t an easy win, so once again we miss out on a glamour-side in the Cup draw AND draw a potential out. Norwich City sits with 17 points as of today in second place in the Championship. They have 5 wins in 8 games, and Cameron Jerome, Steven Naismith, and Jonathan Howson lead their side.

Should we advance though, several Premier League clubs will be eliminated by the quarterfinals, thanks to that draw above, so that’s a positive. Manchester United vs. Manchester City should be a fun one, as should Chelsea at West Ham and Tottenham at Liverpool. Love these tournaments.
Our match is at Elland Road, and Garry Monk has four weeks to build on the momentum he’s started here in September. We’ll be ready. See you soon, Canaries. MOT.
