Leeds United vs. Fulham FC 2016 gamethread: Time, TV, lineups, preview and how to watch

Two disheartening defeats to start league play, and we’re facing a red-hot Fulham squad in match three. Can we earn our first points of the season?

Not the best week in Leeds United history, this last one. Thankfully, we have Fulham tonight to cleanse the palate. It’s not like they’re red-hot or confident or anything. Oh, and we have Liam Bridcutt coming in to help in the defensive midfield, though he won’t be ready to play tonight.

Our Joshua Gilbert put together a stellar preview of the match, so be sure to read that, and Andrew Beck of SB Nation site Cottagers Confidential gave us a confident Q&A for Leeds Against The World as well. (Lots of links there, check them all out.)

And, as if that wasn’t enough, our editor (me) did a few interviews before the game for Cottagers Confidential. You can read my ...optimistic... interview for their Three Questions Q&A or listen to the Fulham podcast Cottage Talk previewing the game with some of my input too. Hope I represented the fanbase well there.

Oh, and we’ve got more! Garry Monk’s pre-Fulham interview was worth a watch...

Alright, that’s enough. We’ll have live-tweets of the game at @ThruItAllLIVE, and we’ll be updating this gamethread with all the information as it comes in, lineups, predictions, everything... AND our staff and readers will be hanging out in the comments throughout the day. Join us there. Let’s get our first points of the season, okay Garry? #MOT

PREDICTION

Johnny Wakefield: 2-2 Draw. I think we take the point, but our back line isn’t ready to hold them under 2. We need goals to compete right now, but I’m hopeful... for a draw.

Matt Robinson: 1-2 Fulham. Unfortunately... I think we're gonna lose. Fulham have had a really good start to the season and look like potential play off candidates. I have faith in Monk long term, but I think for the next week or two we may have to deal with quite a few disappointments first. :(

Ben Mallis: 1-1 Draw. This will be our best performance of the young season, but I cannot predict a victory just yet. Fulham have been a pleasant surprise so far and look early contenders for the top 6. Monk gets his first point at Elland Road..... it's a start.

Sean Ryan: 2-1 Leeds. Fulham will provide a stiff test, but Leeds need a win badly. We've been nothing short of abysmal so far this season but I still think we can pull it back. Our defence is about as sturdy as Donald Trump’s campaign, but after the goal against Fleetwood, I'm expecting Antonsson to kick on. 2-1 and the Monk era to really begin please.

Jack Dudley: 1-1 Draw. Leeds will still struggle to keep the back door closed yet again. Going forwards though, the news of Bridcutt signing will get Elland Road bouncing again, I'm sure. The man to score for the Whites... well, Antonsson, actually. Point on the board tonight, methinks.

Joshua Gilbert: 3-1 Leeds. Even though Leeds have been poor as of late, I think this game will mark the sign of positives. I think Sacko will be an absolute monster. He will pick up the brace, Marcus Antonsson will add a goal, and Pablo Hernandez will have 2 assists. I think the lone goal scored by Fulham will be an own goal by Sol Bamba, thus making this his last game in the starting XI.

And here’s how you’re feeling...

We must. Let’s go. #MOT
