Elland Road will play host to the season’s first home fixture against Birmingham City on August 13.
Monk’s first month in charge will conclude with a home clash with Fulham on August 16, the season’s first Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on 20 August and a trip to Nottingham Forest seven days later.
Newly relegated Newcastle make the trip to Yorkshire after the November international break while United make their trip up to the Toon on April 15.
The Christmas period will see Leeds face Preston North End at Deepdale on Boxing Day followed by a big time clash with another Championship newcomer Aston Villa on New Years Eve. The festive schedule concludes with a home Yorkshire derby against Rotherham United on January 2.
Norwich City will be present for the last game at Elland Road on April 29, with the season concluding with an away fixture against Will Griggs and Wigan Athletic on May 7.
