We’ll keep this really short and sweet: Leeds United head to Derby County today to restart their winning ways after the international break. The newly re-appointed Steve McClaren hopes to stop us, and will have to try to do so with a Derby team languishing in 20th place, 2 points off the relegation zone. Our Anthony Linley wrote another thorough preview, we’ll be live-tweeting the match on @ThruItAllLIVE, and we’ll have a recap and report after the match today.

Let’s do this.

PREDICTIONS

Johnny Wakefield: 1-1 Draw. I think we’re the better team, but being on the road, playing a team we struggle with, after a new managerial appointment lights some fires... I think I’ll be happy with a single point. We’ll see.

Ben Mallis: 1-0 Leeds. As United head to Derby, I am confident that we can repeat last season’s heroics at Pride Park and start October on the right foot. The loss of Dallas will complicate things a little, and I am concerned that the international break might have slowed down the momentum from a glorious September. But that is where my concern ends. The Rams are in turmoil and have decided to recycle Steve McClaren; good luck with that! I’m calling my shot and going with Chris Wood to score the only goal.

Anthony Linley: 2-1 Leeds. I’m not sure about the accuracy of those SkyBet odds, but the Rams were underperforming, and the arrival of a new manager always has a short term effect... but I’m still going for a Leeds win.

Matt Robinson: 1-0 Leeds. This will be a close game but United have the momentum and Derby are lacking in confidence. Derby are a better side than the table suggests and McLaren will get the up and running, but not in his first game. Leeds will take advantage of Derby’s troubles and will take the 3 points back to ER. MOT.

James Mahoney: 2-1 Leeds. After the Nigel Pearson debacle, Derby have made the decision to reappoint Steve McClaren. The appointment of the new manager will galvanise the West Midlands side. However, I don't think it will be enough as I expect we will continue from where we left off 15 days ago against Barnsley. I think we will steal the three points late on in a regimented and clinical away performance. MOT

Joshua Gilbert: 2-1 Leeds. I think that the international break gave the players who didn't get called up a much needed rest. The squad today looks good and I expect good attacking football which will result in 3 points.

And here’s how you’re feeling...

Let’s take some points home. MOT.
