Bristol City have a very poor record with Leeds United, even at their own stadium, winning only three games at the Ashton Gate.  This may be a great opportunity for the visitors to gain confidence after some lackluster performances in recent games.

Date and Time:

18 August, Wednesday 19:45

Venue:

Ashton Gate, Bristol

Weather Forecast:

Cloudy, moody and a high chance of pretty heavy rain. Bring your umbrellas!

Bristol City team news and possible lineup:

Hamer, Ayling, Flint, Williams, Fredericks, Smith, Pack, Bryan, Agard, Wilbraham, Kodija

According to team's captain, Aaron Wilbraham, Bristol are capable of playing well against United and are keen to prove that to the fans.  Main concern would be Freeman, who's out due to a red card received in their previous game. Another absentee is Frank Fielding, still recovering from an injury.

Leeds Utd team news and possible lineups:

Silvestri, Berardi, Bamba, Bellusci, Taylor, Adeyemi, Byram, Murphy, Mowatt, Antenucci, Wood

All good, and quiet on the injury front.  Uwe Rosler should have a whole lot of depth in the roster available for this match. Only concern should be Cook, who's suspended due to a red card caught in a match with DoncasterDallas might be left out of the starting XI as he is still not fully fit and the boss might want to save him for the upcoming games.

Previous:

The last time Leeds and Bristol have met was way back in season 12/13 when The Whites won both games, 3-2 and 1-0.

Summary:

The United are having a great record against City, with 18 games won in all competitions. With all of the players available and a team eager to get some serious points, it should be an interesting game.

TIAT's prediction: 2-1 Leeds
