Uwe Rosler has been reported to have submitted a £5m bid for Ternana forward Felipe Avenatti.
This talented 22-year-old potential striker has sparked interest in several other programs like Watford and Aston Villa. Rosler has expressed his desire for more talent on the team, but he has already spent so much money this summer, including the £3m deal made for Chris Wood alone.
Felipe Avenatti is a tall 6'5" forward with a strong build. He began his professional career when he signed a 4-year deal with Italian football club Ternana Calcio in August of 2013. So far with Ternana, Avenatti has made 52 appearances and scored 12 goals.
Avenatti made 5 appearances on the national level with Uruguay and scored 1 goal against Croatia.
With Chris Wood, Lee Erwin, and Steve Morison, fans wonder if Rosler is making the right decision spending so much money on an extra striker when the cash could go to bettering another area of the team.
The Uruguayan forward has expressed his determination to prove himself this summer and stress his potential to the highest level.
