Reports have suggested that Leeds boss, Uwe Rosler, has shown much interest in Everton forward, Chris Long. Uwe Rosler has already noted that he is still on the lookout for new signings and additional talent to be added onto the team. "...we're always looking out, we always want to improve." Rosler stated after their 1-1 draw at York City.

With a couple of key players currently injured including striker Chris Wood and midfielder Tom Adeyemi, it is difficult to tell the true potential the Whites have as a whole. However, Rosler still seems very confident in the players he has already signed to say the least.

Other Championship clubs including the Blackburn Rovers as well as Burnley have also shown interest in 20 year old Chris Long. Long started his career off with Everton Academy at just 5 years old and his career caught fire after scoring 9 goals in just 17 games during the 2011-2012 season. He eventually signed a 2 year contract with Everton in 2013.

Chris Long signed off on two different loans, one for the League One division and another for the Championship League. During the 2013-2014 season, Long was signed with MK Dons FC on a one-month loan where he made 4 appearances and scored once.

During the 2014-2015 season, Long signed what was initially a one month loan with Brentford, but eventually turned into a loan that lasted the entire season. With Brentford, Long racked up 4 goals with just 11 appearances.
