Tom Adeyemi has been officially announced as the newest member of Leeds United. The 23-year-old is on a one-year loan from Cardiff City, in view of a permeant deal if he impresses Whites management.
Adeyemi began his career in Norwich City, and made a name for himself. He also has a connection with Leeds United head coach Uwe Rosler, as the midfielder played for coach Rosler in Brentford.
Rosler is apparently a huge fan of Adeyemi, as he was the one that signed the future White from Norwich City.
He played for the Bluebirds for a salary of around £1m after a transfer from Birmingham City in 2014. He was featured all 23 times during the 2014-2015 season.
Should the deal become permeant, a £1m buyout clause has been agreed upon by both teams.
Adeyemi has made a total 191 appearances for 6 clubs during his young career.
"We are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Tom Adeyemi on a season-long loan from Cardiff City." The team said via a statement online.
He found himself on the bench for most of his time in Cardiff, and was much in need for a change of scenery.
Rosler has been looking for a new midfielder after Luke Murphy went down due to a knee injury.
