Preston North End at Leeds United: Preview, lineups, discussion

A battle for the middle of the table: 16th place Preston travels to 15th place Leeds. Will short rest for the Whites be a problem or will they vault to 11th in the table?

The Whites return home for the first time since playing Hull City on the 5th of December to play Preston North End at Elland Road.  The Lilywhites (5-10-6) sit one spot behind the Whites in 16th place, and are coming off a good run of form, with two wins and two draws in their last four.  The winner of this game jumps at least three spots up a crowded Championship table mid-section.

Lineups are in, and Doukara did not get the start this blogger thought he earned in Thursday's fixture at Wolverhampton.  With the team on a quick turnaround, we'll probably still see him subbed in today, along with the potential first-team appearance of young Lewie Coyle. Luke Murphy gets the start today in midfield over Tom Adeyemi, and Alex Mowatt rides the pine again.  Should be a fun one today at Elland Road.  Let's go Leeds.
