Ajose only joined Leeds in the summer from Peterborough United as former coach Dave Hockaday saw him as a player who could make the jump up in class.
He made his debut in the opening day defeat to Millwall and hasn't featured since our game against Brighton & Hove Albion back in August.
The winger did impress in spells with his passing ability and an eye for a through ball. But to some fans he played with a similar style to Cameron Stewart, another failed winger that left the club just a few months ago following Brian McDermott's departure.
After just four appearances in a Whites shirt, the winger is now back in League One with the loan deadline approaching on Thursday evening at 5pm.
With Neil Redfearn now at the helm, it appears as if Ajose may have played his last game for the club after not coming anywhere near the first-team in recent weeks.
With just less than 24 hours to go, don't expect this to be the last deal done before Thursday.
