The Mirror believe that Becchio could well be on his way to Carrow Road, with Steve Morison joining Leeds as part of the deal.

With the January transfer window shutting in less than 48 hours, it seems that finally Norwich have decided to try and buy another Leeds player.

After the Snodgrass, Johnson and Howson moves, it appears that Norwich after want-away striker Luciano Becchio, according to the Mirror.

The deal is thought to be worth around £3.5million with Canaries striker Steve Morison coming to Leeds as part of the deal.

It's believed the Premier League side turned their attention to Becchio with their chances of signing Gary Hooper slipping further away.

Becchio handed in a transfer request last Thursday and was subsequently dropped for Leeds' FA cup tie vs Tottenham. The fan-favourite has been heavily linked with moves to Turkey and China but at the moment no club has managed to match Leeds' asking price.

The social media forums tonight show fans in favour of the move, with Morison proven at Championship level. Many believe Becchio won't cut it within the top flight and would rather take the cash and a adequate replacement.

We've hard it all before but it promises to be an interesting few days at Thorp Arch, and it's not often we say that towards transfer deadline day.
