Leeds United 2 - 1 Nottingham Forest: Player Ratings

It's amazing what a Leeds United win can do for your weekend. My general state is a much happier one than covering the player ratings during the week after another bad performance.

Another good point is not having a bad point to say about our players. Each and everyone of them player their heart out today, even if we lose you can't ask for more than that.

Without further ado, here are my ratings today. Once again if you disagree or want your say vote away and we will have the results tomorrow. I haven't included the subs as they didn't really have time to warrant a rating but Aidy White did put a shift in and made two crucial tackles.

Paddy Kenny - 6 - Kenny made some crucial saves but in my opinion was at fault for the goal. Great talker and can see exactly why Warnock signed him for his experience.

Tom Lees - 7 - Starting to slowly mature into a confident defender and that's something I never thought I would say. His ability in the air has really improved both in defence and going forward.

Lee Peltier - 7 - Despite him being a right-back I prefer Peltier in the centre. He is pacey and good in the air but disappointing to see him getting injured.

Jason Pearce - 8 - Brilliant in the air, threw himself in front of everything and showed the passion Leeds fans love.

Adam Drury - 7 - Far more composed than Aidy White at left-back. Needs another run of games after being injured but like the look of him.

Michael Tonge - 6 - Did release some good passes but never really got a foot in the game but gave his all nevertheless.

Rodolph Austin - 8 - The guy is a tank and that's all the matters. Fantastic signing.

Sam Byram - 8 Showed his versatility with playing wide right and excelling. Moved to right-back and still put in a shift. Another great youngster to successfully come through the ranks.

El-Hadji Diouf - 9 - His ability to hold up the ball is freakishly good. Involved in everything and showed his commitment to the cause by covering every blade of grass. Lovely touch to take his shirt off at half-time and give it to a young fan.

Dom Poleon - 7 - Good goal, showed pace and confidence to take players on. Looked tired towards end but deserves to start against Everton.

Luciano Becchio - 8 - Didn't show any sign of an injury and worked his nuts off to cover the other midfielders. Was even at right-back to make a tackle. Great finish and showed his good form so far this season.
