With the constant worries about Leeds' depth within their squad, Neil Warnock has said he believes that the togetherness between the squad will be key this season, and in particular this month.
United face some tough fixtures through the month of September. Cardiff are next before three games in seven days against Hull, Forest and Everton. The Whites travel to Bristol City and Bolton before welcoming Barnsley before another break.
With a small squad Leeds are up against it throughout these tough fixtures, but will have that 'togetherness' that could help them get through it. When speaking to the official site, Warnock said:
"This is an horrific month. We want to get through and hope we're in touch. We've shown already...the lads don't know when they're beaten. The lads have to show that resolve.
"You can't question any of them. We've got 18 players and not a bad egg among them. El-Hadji Diouf has this reputation, but he's fitted like a glove. I think it's good to have a bit of rogue, but around the place you can't find a nicer lad.
"I can't see a problem here on that front and it can only auger well for the next month."
