Sky Sports understands that Leeds right back Paul Connolly is interesting two clubs in terms of a loan move.
Connolly has one year remaining on his contract at Elland Road and has been on the transfer list since the end of last season. After Neil Warnock indicated Connolly did not feature in his plans for the new season.
However he has been allocated the squad number of 24 for the forthcoming season but the arrival of Lee Peltier is expected to seal Connolly's departure.
It is expected that the 28-year-old will be offered a loan route out of Elland Road as approaches for the right back are said to be imminent.
Connolly joined United on a three-year deal in 2010 and has currently made 64 appearances for the Whites.
