Billy Paynter's future took another turn today when the striker joined Doncaster Rovers on trial.
Paynter travelled to South Yorkshire earlier this morning after his trial at Blackpool didn't materialise. Paynter had travelled to the seaside club this week but didn't impress Ian Holloway. This failed move has now alerted the Rovers as well as fellow League One side Notts County.
Leeds boss Warnock told Paynter in May that he had no future at the club after the former Swindon man failed to impress during his two years at Elland Road.
In his 28 appearances, Paynter has scored on three occasions for the Whites.
