Huddersfield to Move for Adam Clayton

According to the Yorkshire Post and in particular chief football writer Richard Sutcliffe, Huddersfield Town are expected to now pursue the possible transfer of Adam Clayton.

Back in early May Warnock confirmed Clayton was to be placed on the transfer list after Clayton's agent and the club couldn't agree a deal.

Apart from the usual Clayton ramblings on Twitter we've seen very little in way of a possible exit from the club, or even a possible stay.

But earlier this morning the Yorkshire Post reported that they believe former boss Simon Grayson could be after the midfielder. Huddersfield are looking to bolster their squad after their promotion and it is thought Clayton could be available for around £500,000. The paper also believe that talks have taken place between the two sides.

Any move for Clayton would probably depend on the apparent impending takeover but the possible money could be used for further dealings...such as the possible move for Paddy Kenny.

I've said in the past how I think losing Clayton could be a massive mistake after the glimpses of class he showed last season. However they were more disappointing performances than they were good ones so on that hand I can see why some are happy he is going.

Like most stories we've been reporting on here at Through It All Together, most of the future dealings, rumours and more depend on this investment in cash and possible new owner.

IF you're reading this potential new owner. Try hurry up!
