The future of Leeds left-back Aidan White is set to be resolved within the next week, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
White trained with the squad yesterday on the first day of pre-season, despite being out of contract after the club and his representatives failed to agree a deal. It is thought White would prefer a stay at Elland Road, should the deal be a fair one for both parties.
Three Premier League sides and fellow Championship sides have expressed an interest in the pacey defender but a compensation fee would be required due to White being under the age of 24.
Also joining White on the training pitch is Andy Gray...no not the commentator, the former Barnsley, striker. Gray has returned to the club where he started seventeen years ago as a professional. Although many fans including myself don't want Gray to sign a deal, it seems for now it may just be a fitness regime for the striker hoping to keep fit until he finds a club.
Speaking to the official site, Neil Warnock said:
"You're always going to get trialists at this time. I said they could have a couple of weeks with us and we'll see how things go. Andy is a player I've known for a long time, and there's no promises made or anything like that, he's just training and we'll see how things go."
