The day that Neil Warnock can tell certain Leeds players he wants them to leave is just around the corner.
It's a day we know Warnock has longed for, most radio interviews and newspaper interviews contain quotes from Neil suggesting he can't wait for the new season.
Warnock has announced that the fans will know more about the squad next week, with the boss set to meet the players after the game against Leicester City.
Speaking to the clubs official site, Warnock said:
"This has been a busy week in terms of talking about recruitment and we've got a busy few days coming up. I'll be speaking with the players next week and we'll make an announcement after that so people know where we are. The next few weeks will be very busy.
I'd like to keep the fans informed where possible, but I'm not going to be commenting on every individual that's mentioned. I've read we're speaking to 'this player' or that 'player'...I'm supposed to have signed three players from QPR...there's even been players linked I've never heard of.
Journalists need things to fill their columns with, particularly in the summer when there's not a lot else to write about apart from speculation and sometimes they'll be right, sometimes it'll be inventive.
The best thing I can do is keep quiet."
I'll be honest I can't wait for the summer to start. Come on Neil get rid of the drab and bring in some quality...if that's possible on a budget being used for legal fees.
