I've been rather down in the dumps since starting the blog two weeks ago.
But I feel I've got some good enough reasons to be so down. Two weeks from now we'll be waking up ready for Leicester City and a Jermaine Beckford hat-trick. Ok sorry still a little miserable. Out of the final four games you'd say today's is the easiest. I am not saying that the Posh are a poor side but they're 17th in the league so you'd think we have a chance.
I haven't enjoyed a game since Southampton if I'm honest, West Ham had the big crowd but the atmosphere was awful for a crowd of 20,000 never mind 33,000. So today I'm going to try and cheer up ahead of the game, and be positive for a victory.
At the moment I'd much rather see some players we've not seen much of. Nunez again, Rogers, Forssell...maybe even Varynen...if he is fit. We can't play any worse than we are doing so lets have some squad players put in, like Warnock promised a few weeks ago.
Anyway back to the quotes, after the jump are the thoughts of both managers ahead of the game. I'll try be positive if possible...come on Leeds!
Speaking on the Leeds official site, Warnock said:
"I've got one or two ideas regarding Peterborough. We've got four games left, and the three games after Peterborough are all against teams who are going for promotion, so this might be one to look at things.
I have to think longer term, and while we want to finish as well as we can, it's not about results, it's about how I see them performing. The home form hasn't been good, but that will change once we sort the team out at the end of the season."
Speaking on the Peterborough official site, Ferguson said:
"Whenever Leeds play at home there is always pressure on them to perform and that will be the case again on Saturday. I have told my players to go out there and enjoy themselves. It is a great stadium and they just need to go and express themselves like I know they can."
