After beating Everton and Southampton on their way, The Whites face Champions League winners chelsea in the quarter finals. The last time Leeds were in the quarter finals of the cup was back in 95/96 when they went on to finish runners-up.
Below are are what both managers had to say:
"I thought Man United was the biggest here, but there's no doubt Chelsea is a close second,
"We've got some good players and we know we'll be able to hurt them on certain occasions. Obviously they are a good side, we know what to expect and we are just hoping to give them a good game.
"We've really tried every game to put out the best team that we possibly could, we have one or two little niggles here and there and that will be the same with Chelsea.
"We've deserved to win in every round so far and I think that everybody is beatable on the day. We've got to try and not concede early doors. We've got to be on our game, simple as that. If we are not on our game we will get beat easily so hopefully we will start well and give them a run for their money.
"I think because of their defeat at the weekend Chelsea will be determined to get to the final,
"If they play well and we play well there will be only be one winner, so we've just got to hope they are a little bit off and we lift ourselves above what we've been doing."
Rafa Benitez: Rafa Benitez Daily Mail
"Sometimes I decide to change the team and play different players because we have so many games, and certain players need a rest,
"Ashley Cole is a fantastic player, he's playing every game and he's doing really well, but after playing so many games, will he be fitter than Ryan Bertran, who hasn't played as much, is younger and is ready?
'Each game is different. I'm sure Bertrand will be desperate to play, and maybe he's the strongest player in this position for the game.
"We will talk with them and we will explain how important is every game, how important is the competition for us and how important the game will be for all the fans and for the club,
"We will have some research about the history, I think that it is quite interesting."
