Leeds United bolstered their defence on Thursday with the signing of Swansea defender Alan Tate on loan. Yesterday the news broke that GFH Capital had completed their takeover of the club and today has seen more good news for Leeds fans in the shape of Alan Tate joining the club.
Tate has only played four times for Michael Laudrup this season and the Swansea gaffer has now allowed the defender to sign for the Whites initially until the turn of the year.
Neil Warnock said:
"He is a lad who I've always enjoyed playing against. He is a leader and I felt these last few weeks we've lacked leaders. It's great to have him in.
We're short on bodies in there, Jason is suspended, so he'll play on Saturday.
He's got a great attitude, it's a super club for him."
Alan Tate was later joined by Jerome Thomas at Elland Road on loan deadline day. Thomas joined United from West Brom until January, read more here.
