Leeds United 0 - 1 Birmingham City: Player Ratings

Have your say on today's players after our defeat to Birmingham at Elland Road.

Another poor disappointing performance by the Whites after a 0-1 defeat at home to Birmingham. Without a takeover it's difficult to see where Neil Warnock will get the ability to change things. It's not the end of the world but to pick up two points, from a possible nine against the teams down at the bottom, is simply not good enough.

Here are my ratings:

Paddy Kenny - 6 - Some good saves but his kicking let him down today. Still a quality keeper but can only do so much with the team playing bad in front of him.

Tom Lees - 6 - Showed his signs of improvement when on the ball but didn't really get forward which is what he needs to be doing from right-back.

Lee Peltier - 5 - Odd passing decisions from the makeshift centre back compiled to his bad day.

Jason Pearce - 6 - Loves a tackle and showed today why Warnock needs him at the back. Could do better going forward at set-pieces.

Danny Pugh - 5 - No idea why Warnock picks him. Hopefully we can sell him in January.

Michael Tonge - 6 - Tried his best when on the ball to create an opening and was the pick of the central trio for Leeds.

David Norris - 5 - Hasn't had the best of starts since returning from injury but shows plenty of commitment.

Rodolph Austin - 5 - Austin's lack of rest is catching up to him as he seems to be a different player to the one who started the season. Can't expect him to be on song every week but did show some of his old crunching tackles.

Sam Byram - 6 - Once again the youngster gave his all and got forward as many times as he could to support. Will only get better as the season goes on.

El-Hadji Diouf - 6 - Poor set pieces for most of the game but his will to collect the ball and try create something can't be questioned.

Becchio - 4 - Had a poor game and his first touch let him down for the umpteenth time. In great form this season but today just wasn't his day.
