Another disappointing showing from the Whites who were lucky to get a point from their clash with Charlton at Elland Road on Tuesday night. Below are some post match quotes from both managers as well as Charlton goalscorer Dorian Dervite.

Neil Warnock:

"It was a good point in the end. The way we played we did well to get a point. We were that poor.

When I look at the whole game it was there to win. But we didn't have a spark, the crowd didn't have a spark and it was flat. I don't know why that was, maybe people were still flat after the weekend. We could have moved it about a lot quicker, we were lethargic in a lot of departments.

Norris took his goal well. There was no backlift on it. I just wish we could have gone on and won, I thought we could, but in the end we were hanging on for a point.

It would have been nice to have left it as it was. Michael Tonge was struggling with his shoulder, but in the end we probably missed his quick passing and Aidy's enthusiasm. I said to them all afterwards 'you've got a point tonight lads, we'll done.' It was that bad. We'll have more zip about us on Saturday against Birmingham and we can't be that bad again.

The one thing is, we'd probably have lost the game last year, but I'm still disappointed we didn't win."

Chris Powell:

"Our performance warranted all three (points). It was possibly a foul for their goal but we showed a lot of character to come back after they scored.

It was great that Dorian Dervite scored on his debut. He is a centre-half by trade but we played him in a different role tonight.

He came to us on trial in the summer and I felt he had enough to add something to our squad."

Dorian Dervite:

"We could have won the game, I think.

We created some good chances at the end, and their goalkeeper made some good saves, but we will still go home happy with one point.

It was my first start this season, and the coach asked me if I was comfortable playing there - I said yes, I'm happy to start and get a good result at the end.

I have played in midfield when I was quite younger, maybe when I was 18 or 19 with the national team, but usually my first position is centre-back. I don't mind playing there, though."

I think everyone performed very well. Everyone was together defending and we were very solid."
