Leeds United have completed the loan signing of Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend until the end of the season.
The winger recently signed a new deal at White Hart Lane until 2016 and has scored twice in eight games for Spurs. Townsend also has plenty of experience at Championship level having had previous spells with Millwall, Watford and Ipswich Town.
Townsend will no doubt be thrown into action tomorrow ahead of the tie against Burnley, and will give Leeds another attacking option from the wings. Although Snodgrass isn't playing due to an injury, when he returns it will take the pressure off him as most teams put two men on him all game. Townsend has shown potential in the Europa League, he possesses pace and skill on the ball and he should improve the first eleven.
We did say that about Livermore though...
