Leeds United will host Manchester United at Elland Road in the Carling Cup, in the week commencing September 19th. The tie is the pick of the round and sees the two rivals lock horns once again.
Elland Road will no doubt be packed to capacity, o no it won't my apologises as the stand isn't ready yet, deary me Ken. I don't need to remind anybody of the result the last time the two teams played, but just because I want to say it again, it was 0-1 to Leeds.
The cup draws have favoured us in recent years, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester Utd have all taken on the mighty Whites. Nobody expects Leeds to do anything in the game, and most Manchester United fans will pretend they aren't fussed about the tie. But it gives more money to Ken and allows me to get really giddy.
