Leeds United centre back Patrick Kisnorbo has ended speculation linking him with a move away from Elland Road, by signing a new two year deal.
The Australian International has endured a torrid 14 months after picking up an achilles injury against Millwall at Elland Road. United's player of the year in 2010 only featured once last season, coming on for the final ten minutes against QPR on the final day of the campaign.
Kisnorbo has been away in Australia completing a rehab programme, and after joining up with the squad late last week, will now travel to Scotland ahead of the pre-season tour.
Speaking on the official Leeds United website, boss Simon Grayson said: "We're delighted to get things finalised with Paddy. He's had a tough time, but we know what he is all about and what he brings to the team. He is a very important member of our squad.
"The deal shows the commitment of both the club and Paddy and it's great to have him back with everyone after being out for so long."
