McCormack earns Scotland call-up

Leeds United striker Ross McCormack is set for an international recall to the Scotland squad, for the first time since 2009.

McCormack will be hoping to impress in training to earn a starting place, for the Carling Nations cup, where Scotland are set to face Wales and the Republic of Ireland at the end of this month.

The forward has already picked up five international caps, but hasn't featured since 2009 when he was still playing for Cardiff City. After scoring winning goals against Burnley and QPR, McCormack fully deserves his recall and we wish him all the best.

Fellow Scotland international Robert Snodgrass was not called up to the squad, the midfielder is still struggling with a back injury.
