Match Preview - Leeds United vs Norwich City

Tomorrow's game against Norwich is quite simply, huge. Nobody ever expected both ourselves and the Canaries to be where we are now, at this stage of the season. After all we have both recently gained promotion from League one last year, and this year was surely about staying up. I personally didn't see Leeds performing so well and after watching them all season they are worthy of their place in the play-off's if not higher. The game see's sixth vs third and the result could be crucial in the push for promotion.

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson will welcome back Sanchez Watt into the squad, now that he has fully recovered from his hamstring injury that has kept him out for the past 3 games. Eric Lichaj will also start as Paul Connolly is nursing a hamstring problem picked up in the game against Coventry City.

Norwich also have some injuries worries of their own, Leon Barnett injured his hamstring in last week's game against Reading and will be out for the rest of the season. Paul Lambert has the opportunity to recall midfielder Andrew Surman after he has returned to the squad following a knee injury.

Leeds have been solid at home in recent week's, winning five of their last 7 games so Norwich will have their work cut out. However they seem to be the new Manchester United, scoring in the last minute on several occasions this season. Grant Holt is the man to watch for them, he has been on top form once again this season.

My prediction

I can see tomorrow's game been very very close. With two consecutive clean sheet's Leeds will be confident that they can stop Norwich scoring, but with the defence this season you just never know. It will be interesting to see the formation Grayson goes for tomorrow with Somma back fit and ready. I hope Norwich don't grab another late goal, and in turn we can do it to them. My prediction for tomorrow's game is 2-2, I can't separate the sides and a draw wouldn't be the end of the world for Leeds.
