With the postponement of last weekends match against Hereford United, a new date as been set. The match will now be played on Tuesday, February 17 and with Leeds facing Huddersfield Town on the Saturday before and Cheltenham Town the following match day, it will be a delicate test.
Of the postponement Leeds United CEO Shaun Harvey very complimentary of Hereford United professionalism in dealing with the matter:
The CEO said via the club web-site:
"Hereford rang us on Friday and said there was a doubt so people were prepared.
"The inspection was set before our coaches were due to leave and Hereford deserve a lot of credit for the way they acted.
"Compare that to the farce at Doncaster last season when a lot of people were well on their way when they realised there was a problem. This is the way it should be done.
"With Hereford acting so quickly we were able to let our fans know as quickly as possible via Yorkshire Radio and the website.
"All credit to Hereford for that and let's compliment them on the professional way they handled it."
