After Simon Grayson announced that Leeds was bringing in a top flight coach, Brian Little revealed to the BBC that he turned down the offer. The former Aston Villa manager said:
"Simon has spoken to me, but having a young family means the location and the travelling involved isn't ideal for me.
"I'd have loved to work with Simon Grayson and I think he has the potential to become a great manager.
"I have a young family in the midlands so I think it suits me to be around there at the moment.
"Simon and I have spoken on and off for years and years now and I wish him every success.
"But at the moment with the location of Leeds and my location, it would involve a 240-mile round trip every day, which just isn't ideal."
