Carlisle United comes to Elland Road on Saturday with Leeds desperate to start a long run of victories. In a message that will be repeated for the balance of the campaign, their backs are against the wall and they need to collect victories.
With the acquisition of Lee Trundle, expect Simon Grayson to deploy the sharpshooter on a hunt for goals. Leeds is fully fit and amongst its loyal Elland Road supporters, they have no excuse not to come out with three points. Should Leeds feel the inspiration to decimate Carlisle, a 4-3-3 with Lee Trundle, Luciano Becchio and depending on fitness, either Malcolm Christie or Jermaine Beckford filling out the strike force would be devastating. With Bradley Johnson and Robert Snodgrass on the wings, Fabian Delph should be given the green-light to attack, attack, attack. The question is now, how much are they willing to push the attack and will they really play for promotion?
The "time" is now Leeds. Points are needed and they have no room for error.
