Following Leeds superb effort against Derby in the League Cup its time to get back to business in League One and push on towards the goal of promotion. Presently Leeds is third in the League One table, trailing top of the table Leicester City and matches such as Saturday's affair against Huddersfield are strategically important in the campaign. Fortune has fallen the way of Gary McAllister's club as dropped points to-date haven't had the negative impact they could have however there is no room for further slip-ups.
Leeds is fully-fit and will have Alan Sheehan and Jermaine Beckford available for service after recovering from injuries. Heading into the match Gary McAllister commented:
"We've had a busy time with all the games, and there's a few little niggles, but on the whole everyone is fit. When you're playing games like this you couldn't wish to come back to a better place than Thorp Arch in between time. We're all looking forward to the weekend now."
In facing Huddersfield, Leeds will be going against one of the most porous defending units in League One. Based upon the Derby performance Leeds should utilize a 4-3-3 with the impressive young Scot Robert Snodgrass up-front with Jermaine Beckford and Luciano Becchio.
Due to travel situations I will report on the match Sunday evening CET but until then we're Marching on Together.
