The BBC - and pretty much everyone else, for that matter - is reporting that Juande Ramos, Tottenham's replacement for Martin Jol, want Leeds's assistant manager Gus Poyet to take on the same role at Tottenham. Leeds fans the world over are praying tonight that it ain't true. Leeds's manager, Dennis Wise, has asked Poyet to sit out tomorrow's match against Milwall to avoid "distracting the players", so it looks like he's on the way out.
I honestly don't know why Poyet would want to leave Leeds - Tottenham, at least on current form, are on their way down to the Championship, while Leeds are on their way up. I know which way I'd rather go.
