Everyone has something to say on Leeds United

From the point of view of every Leeds United supporter Leeds are still one of the biggest clubs in the country and, to some, in Europe. Despite the painstakingly 10 year long absence from the Premier League. We have one of, if not THE, most passionate following in all of football, bringing thousands to every away game. We are the ultimate sleeping giant just waiting to be woken up so we may take our rightful place amongst England's elite. That's the way we see it.

But to the outsiders looking in we are nothing more than a has-been. A club who's supporters are nothing more than "vile animals", thugs, who are a disgrace to this country's beautiful game. "You're not famous anymore!" - a chant regularly aimed at us and our followers. Yet, everyone seems to have something to say about Leeds United. Regularly ostracised by the British tabloids as a "club in crisis" with an Italian owner who is stark raving mad who must be expelled from English football before he damages our noble game. Yeah, right.

Excuse my language, but F**K 'EM! Throughout our history we have always been made to feel as outsiders. Dirty Leeds who cheated their way to glory. Remember that? As a child, well even nowadays to be honest, whenever you'd meet another Brit abroad the conversation would usually lead to football. "Leeds?! I f****** HATE Leeds!" "Dirty Leeds?!". We've all been there. Would I have it any other way? Not a chance. I'd much rather be (pointlessly) loathed by the masses than them have zero feelings about (Charlton anyone?).

Recently, long time servant to the enemy from across the Pennines, Phil Neville, piped up to proclaim his disgrace how Leeds went "to Slovenia and brought back this lad, Milanic; I've never heard of". Cheers Phil but your opinion isn't wanted. Simply because you haven't heard of him, even though you both played in Euro 200, shouldn't discount "this lad". Milanic currently holds the UEFA Pro Licence, something that Phil has been working towards. He is also multilingual. Four languages to be precise. Yes, he is something of an unknown in these parts of the world but does that make him an less qualified to take charge of Leeds? Certainly not. Maybe Redfearn should of been given the Head Coach role but as I've said in another one of my rants he has been doing sterling work within the academy and we can not afford to lose him in that position.

Now I'm not 100% pro-Cellino but the Sardinian has sturdied the Leeds United ship, certainly more so than any of our previous owners. He has got rid of the majority of the dead wood in the squad, brought in promising, young players and says he will buy back the Elland Road stadium in November. Wether he will or not remains to be seen, but if he does he will certainly silence his critics.

We don't need anyone who isn't Leeds. We're renegades. As Leeds fans we must rally together and push on. The majority may not want us back at the top but united we will get there.
